Voice of the Soul is a Kuwait-based melodic death metal band formed in 2007. Coming from one of the weakest metal scenes in the Middle East, Voice of the Soul began their journey as a cover band in 2007. After a series of lineup changes, Voice of the Soul took the time to write and record originals and released their first EP, Winds of Apprehension, in July 2009. The band progressed and released their second EP, Eyes of Deceit, the following the summer. The EP was received very well and featured on Metality.net's 1st compilation album with Middle East metal heavyweights Nervecell, as well as Daylight Dies and Finnish legends Norther.

Voice of the Soul released their 3rd EP in 2011, featuring 6 heavy tracks, that show the constant maturity and development of one of the Middle East's youngest metal bands. The EP was debuted on Portugal's top metal show, SOS Heavy Metal radio.

In April 2014, the band recorded their debut full-length album at Haven Studio in Dubai.
